Virtual Coffee Date

Our son has been at The Montessori Schools for four years now. He's in his fourth year so he's been through the whole program from toddler to primary and we really loved watching him evolve in his role of being the youngest in the class to the eldest. The school has been really wonderful for us. And our teacher, who we've had for the second year has really been fantastic. Our son has really improved and he's learned how to recognize all his letters and numbers and our teacher has been very supportive and very communicative. We have constant emailing back and forth and it's really nice knowing that our son is so well taken care of and part of a thoughtful community. The teachers are great, the faculty are great, the other families are great. You really feel like you are part of something special being in The Montessori Schools. We love it.

My daughter is in a primary class at The Montessori Schools. She absolutely loves the school, her teachers and all her friends. I think the school has done a great job developing her confidence, focus and independence. The school truly cares about the students, which we can see from many areas, especially during the pandemic time. When the pandemic started, the school put together a very comprehensive online learning program in a short time window. Since then, the school has been preparing for a safe reopening, because they know that this is the best for the students. Thanks to that, my daughter has been enjoying in person learning since the end of August, safely and happily.

My son is in the toddler distance learning program. I just wanted to say that we love Montessori for the curiosity and the engagement that the school cultivates. And really, the adventures in learning that the teachers provide our students have helped create a very tangible, tactile environment for learning, even in the context of a digital curriculum. And we're just so thrilled with it and my son’s development, and we love the school and the teachers, and again the engagement and the curiosity is just as apparent. Wonderful to see.

We love Montessori and more importantly, our son does. A year ago, we were a little worried about the full days because he's a bit introverted and he's a little shy, but they have done an amazing job. He loves going there. He loves the full days. He comes out so happy. He wants to be the first to walk into school. It was such a great decision and is probably one of the best decisions we've made. And they've done an amazing job of keeping them safe and healthy, and we feel very, very comfortable with having him there every day.

I want to give you a few reasons why this school is so wonderful and for me the best choice for my kids. I have two girls enrolled right now. One is in primary, one is in toddler, and we just love the school so much. The first thing that always comes to my mind is I'm very impressed with the community factor. The teachers are so warm and loving and the community they create in the classroom was just incredible, so every time we see kids outside the school, they wave to each other in a way that it's almost as if they see family members and there’s a lot of respect and love for each other. So that's really, really wonderful. I love the school, the Montessori in general, I think it's a wonderful approach for kids. They come home and they can do things on their own. They learn how to put shoes on, how to put their jackets on and the first time they do the jacket flip, their eyes sparkle and they’re so proud that they just put on the jacket themselves. The classrooms are very quiet, it's very Zen. It’s a very nice atmosphere like I actually want to work there because it's just wonderful and nourishing. I could really go on, especially now with COVID there was not even one moment where I was hesitating to send my kids, because it seems very safe. Even with the masks and face shields, and distancing, it's still so warm and wonderful and my kids go in there every morning happy and when I pick them up, they just had the best time. 

Our son is our third child to go through The Montessori Schools and we have been so happy with the school as a family. I find that it's the only preschool we found that has a true curriculum for toddlers, and it's been fun to watch our son, who’s not even two years old, to see how he thrives in the classroom and takes part in his environment.
